With experience caring for vulnerable populations in rural and urban communities, Geisinger is committed to providing services that improve people’s health and lives.
As the inaugural health system to become part of Risant Health, this proven leader in value-based care is helping inform Risant Health's strategy, platform, and operational model. Geisinger maintains its name and mission, and continues accepting patients covered by other health plans and providing the opportunity for its members to seek care at other provider organizations.
Founded in 1953, Cone Health is a nonprofit health care network serving more than half a million people in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina.
As the second health system to become part of Risant Health, Cone Health will continue to deliver high-quality care and innovative programs to people in the communities it currently serves. Cone Health will continue to work with other health plans, provider organizations, and independent physicians.
Along with Geisinger and Risant Health’s future health systems, Cone Health will work to advance and expand health-focused care to more patients, members, and communities through the value-based platform.
